The International Cooperation Initiative (ICI) project provides free online PDF files of Society of Biblical Literature publications to scholars and students who would not otherwise have access to these resources. These resources are available for persons in countries with a per capita GDP that is substantially lower than the average per capita GDP of the United States and the European Union. Academic presses partnering with SBL Press in this project are: Brown Judaic Studies, Catholic Biblical Association, Editorial Biblos, Fortress Press, Gorgias Press, Sheffield Phoenix Press, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad Católica Argentina, Westminster John Knox Press and Wiley-Blackwell.
